Praising his recently published Romances at length and discussing two points of Scottish dialect, but praising Ellis's "zeal." Hardly daring to hope that Ellis will visit Scotland and describing the visit of "two gentil Bachelors" who Scott "must diospach upon some adventure till dinner time."
